How to Get Real Estate License


If you’re interested in a career in real estate, getting licensed is one of the first steps. Licensing requirements vary by state, but the process typically involves: completing your pre-licensing education, passing the state real estate exam, and then applying for your license with the appropriate government agency. The length of time it takes to get your real estate license depends on how fast you can complete your pre-licensing education. Once you’ve received your license, it’s important to maintain it by submitting your continuing education (CE) hours and renewing your license every two years. You can check your license status by logging in to the MLS Campus portal or contacting the state directly.
